PEACE
[beta session]
Peace
In an age where information flows ceaselessly and social dynamics are more complex than ever, the notion of peace takes on a paradoxical existence. While we've never been more connected, we find ourselves also mired in divisions—be they political, social, or even within ourselves. Peace seems both within reach and unfathomably distant; a sanctuary for the soul yearned for by many, yet marred by the complexities of modern existence. It exists as a utopian ideal on one hand, and a set of fragmented moments on the other. Our panel delved into this intricate landscape of peace, examining its multi-faceted aspects. From the role of media and politics in shaping or misrepresenting our understanding of peace, to the internal struggles and revelations about what peace means on a deeply personal level, the conversation was as rich as it was varied. Unpacking the assumptions we hold, and the societal influences that shape those assumptions, our discussion unveiled the contrasting colors of peace in a world of grayscale. We invite you to explore this poignant dialogue and the evocative artwork it inspired, as we collectively journey through the complexities and contradictions of peace in the modern era.
